What we ask you for, what we do with it, and when it goes.

What we ask for

Only what a parcel needs: name, address, city, postcode, country, phone and email, plus a Telegram handle if you choose to give one. There is no account and no password: you place an order with those details and nothing else.

What we do with it

We use it to ship your order and to answer you about it, and — only if you tick it at checkout — to ask you once how the order went. That is all. We do not profile you, we do not advertise to you, and we never sell or rent your details to anyone.

When it goes

The moment we mark your order as dispatched — which is before it reaches you — your name, address, phone, email and Telegram handle are erased from our database. The same happens if an order is cancelled. What stays is the order code, the amount, the transaction hash, the tracking number and the status: that is what lets you track the parcel and lets us keep our books. If you want the details of an order we have not dispatched removed sooner, ask us and we cancel the order, which erases them. One exception, and only if you tick it at checkout: we keep your email address, on its own, for the single reminder asking how the order went, about three weeks after dispatch, and erase it as soon as that email is sent.

Who else sees it

The carrier gets your name and address, because somebody has to deliver the parcel. A notification of the order, including the shipping address, goes to our own staff channel on Telegram. If order emails are switched on, our email provider handles your address, the order code and the tracking number. Nobody else, and never for their own purposes.

Your payment is public, and permanent

Crypto payments are recorded on a public blockchain. The transaction, our receiving address and the address you paid from stay visible to anyone, for good, and neither we nor you can delete them. Anyone who already knows your address can see that it paid us. If you would rather a payment were not linkable to you, that is a decision to take before you send it, not after.

Cookies

`age` remembers that you confirmed your age. `lang` remembers the language you chose. `cart` holds what is in your cart, for a week. `dash` signs in whoever runs the shop and is never set for a customer. `cc` remembers your answer to the cookie bar. `promo` keeps a discount code you entered, for 30 days. Those six are ours and stay here. Google Analytics then sets its own, `_ga` and `_ga_*`, and those are Google's, not ours.

Visit statistics

We count page views to see what people look at: the page, where the visit came from, a two-letter country code, and a short code standing in for the visitor. That code is a salted hash of the IP address and browser string — we never store the IP address itself, and the code cannot be turned back into one. The counts are deleted after 60 days. Separately, Google Analytics counts visits too, but only after you accept it in the cookie bar: see "Google Analytics" below.

Reviews

Only an order that has shipped can be reviewed, from its order page. We publish the stars, the title and text you write, the name you choose (or "Verified buyer" if you leave it empty), the product and the date — nothing else from your order. We check reviews before publishing them, and we take yours down if you ask.

Keeping it safe

The site is served over HTTPS, the database sits on the server and is not public, and the dashboard is behind a password with a limit on failed attempts. No system is perfect: we keep as little as possible, for as short a time as possible, which is the part we can actually guarantee.

What you can ask us

Ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write with your order number and we answer. Note that once an order is dispatched the details are already gone (except the email kept for a review reminder you asked for, which we delete on request), and that a blockchain transaction is outside anyone's power to erase.

Under 21s

This site is not for people under 21, and we do not knowingly keep details of anyone under 21. If you believe we hold some, tell us and we delete them.

Changes

If this page changes, the version on the site is the one that applies. Questions about it go to the same contacts as everything else, in the footer of every page.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people open and where they arrived from. It runs in your browser, sets its own cookies, and sends Google your IP address, the pages you open and a random identifier; Google processes that for us and may store it outside your country. We never send it your name, address, email or anything about an order. To stay out of it entirely, use Google's own opt-out add-on or block googletagmanager.com in your browser — the shop works exactly the same either way.
